Writing novels, short stories, and poetry has been a hobby of mine now, for at least the last ten years or so. After compiling a few together I had the urge to have them published. It was two years ago when I found the website issuu.com, this site seemed to be the way to go at the time. I combined all of the stories and poetry that I wanted to publish into a pdf format file and uploaded them onto the net. After only a few days of having my work uploaded, I was having serious reservations about the whole idea, as there are so many people out there who will steal anything in a heartbeat. So I removed them from the internet. However this did give me another idea, for my photography. So I created a few photography magazines, with some of my favourite images. This then brought me to the idea of creating a magazine for the Southern Highlands. So here we are today, my first magazine published and over 600 hits already in the first week of the magazine going live. Wow, that is a great beginning for our first issue. So far we have had some terrific feedback. If anyone has anything they would like to share or have published in the next issue please let us know, as the next issue has commenced.
